Become a licensed Vehicle Safety Inspector or renew an existing license. This course meets the training requirements for the Auto Safety Inspection Program administered by the NC Division of Motor Vehicles, License and Theft Bureau. You must attend all 8-hour of the course and pass a state certification exam administered in class to become a licensed inspector or renew your existing license. A NC Vehicle Safety Inspection Regulations Manual is available in the class for study purposes.
