Summary
Vision Transylvania is a comprehensive leadership development program to promote informed and committed civic volunteerism. Accordingly, its programs are designed to help participants acquire both a fuller sense of the wide array of critical issues affecting Transylvania County, and the leadership skills necessary to motivate and engage others in collaborative efforts to resolve them.
Requirements
The evening orientation session (Thursday, August 13, 5-9pm) and the 1.5-day opening retreat (Friday, August 21, 2026, 1-5pm and Saturday, August 22, 2026, 9am-4pm) are mandatory. The remaining 10 monthly program days are also an essential part of the experience.
