Join Carol McCullough, to learn how the “war to end all wars” didn’t…and we still see its impact in the world today. This course will look at Europe in 1914, consider the underlying and immediate reasons WW I started and discuss the lasting legacies that have influenced international relationships ever since.

This event transformed warfare and reshaped the modern world. In a survey of historians and journalists conducted by the Newseum in Arlington, Virginia, WW I was ranked the eighth most important event in the 20th century. Join us in discussing this fascinating period of history.
